TCS completes the upgrade of four antenna systems for Pt. Mugu. Two of the upgrades were done on 30' tracking systems on San Nicholas Island. The other two upgrades were done on 32' tracking systems at the Naval Air Warfare Center site at Pt. Mugu. The upgrade consisted of adding an ACU-M1 and a Pedestal Interface Unit (PIU) to plug into the control cable of these four systems.
TCS delivered Local and Remote ACUs with the PIUs. The Remote ACUs are all housed together at Pt. Mugu to control these four antennas remotely. The Local ACUs all had embedded Lumistar receivers inside.
