TCS Antennas Support LADEE Launch
Friday, September 06, 2013
NASA Wallops made history by launching their first moon-bound rocket on September 6, 2013. The LADEE launch was supported by many TCS controlled antenna systems and two flight termination systems on Wallops Island, Virginia. Shortly after launch, the rocket was acquired and tracked over Bermuda. There, more TCS controlled antenna systems received telemetry information as LADEE rocketed by on its way to the moon.
