Our Antenna Control Unit - M1 provides to the operator complete control over the antenna / pedestal, the feed, and supporting equipment. The ACU-M1, provides a 19” rack mountable, expandable chassis with a 15” color touch screen display.

The M1 provides 2 USB interfaces on the front panel for additional peripherals like a keyboard, pen drive, joystick, or printer. Our controllers can interface with up to eight telemetry receivers that can be grouped into different combinations for auto receiver selection. They have extensive setup and test diagnostic capabilities.

In today's age of Information Assurance and Cyber Security, TCS changed the Operating System and the ACU software to meet the new paradigm of system security. Today, TCS offers the ACU-M1L, the Red Hat Enterprise Linux version of the ACU-M1. The operating system is setup to pass security requirements as called out in the DISA STIGS. The system software has been rewritten from he ground up in 64-Bit to meet the tracking challenges of tomorrow.

Aside from the standard 19” rack mount version of the ACU-M1, the ACU now comes deployable as a 2U rack mount version and an embedded version to be installed inside telemetry pedestals. Each of these form factors is described in our ACU-M1L Brochure.
